“Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy – but mysterious. But above all black says this: I don’t bother you – don’t bother me.”

When I’m in a fashion rut, there is one outfit I always turn to. Black. Black is chic but effortless. It exudes an air of confidence without being pretentious. Black looks good on all skin types, colors, shapes, etc. Black is to colors as Taylor Swift is to pop music, perfection.

If you haven’t jumped fringe bandwagon, I’ll save you a seat.  Adding fringe as an accessory is an easy way to test out the trend, without jumping headfirst into a 70’s Cher full fringe jacket. My photog/co-GoldwillDigger/Mom DIYed a hideous leopard print cross-body bag from Goodwill and created this masterpiece at a fraction of the price of the fringe clutches found in stores.
